Insurance Discount
If you insure your aircraft with the special RVAA negotiated rate via Agile Aviation Insurance, Agile will pay your membership fee.
RVAA has negotiated very competitive insurance premiums for its members with Agile Aviation Insurance. Reports from members who have switched to Agile Aviation Insurance confirm their competitiveness, so it’s worth getting a quote for your next renewal.
Agile Insurance is paying the RVAA $30 membership fee for every RV owner insured through Agile Insurance!
If you have Agile Insurance, you will no longer be asked by the Treasurer to make an annual $30 membership payment. How good is that?
In order to protect your privacy, Agile Insurance will ask you to tick if you are or want to be a member of the RVAA. We will then receive your $30 membership ‘free to you’ subscription.

FUEL DISCOUNTS
There are two options for member fuel discounts.
Lowes
Air BP through Lowes Air gives a 5c/L discount.
- Download the Lowes Air Application. This is an editable PDF document that when opened, answers can be typed in.
- Complete part 1. For most members the first section “Individual (Sole Trader) is all you need to fill in, ignore trade references.
Enter “RVAA” as the Name of association you belong to and your RVAA membership number (if you don’t know your number contact the Treasurer) - Complete the credit limit in part 3.
- Complete the direct debit authorisation in part 6. Lowes will require a recent bank statement showing your bank name, account number, your name and address. Transaction details can be redacted. Contact Lowes directly to discuss other payment methods but note they no longer accept credit card.
- Now go to Part 8 and fill in aircraft details and AVGAS.
- A photocopy of your driver’s licence and Medicare card is required to be attached for proof of identity (100 points).
- Once you have completed typing in your answers, print the form off and sign the application in Part 1 & Part 6. Electronic signatures are not acceptable. Scan the form and return to Lowes. Those without scanning facilities post the application back to Lowes on the address provided on the form.
IOR
All full financial members of the RVAA will receive an 8 cents per litre discount on all aviation fuels when using their facilities.
IOR has over 35 years of fuel distribution in Australia and is rapidly expanding its aviation fuel locations.
How will this work?
To avail of this member discount RVAA is required to provide IOR a list of full financial members (and update the list annually). On that list will be your name, membership number and mobile number. Kindly let me know Ian if you do not wish IOR to receive your contact details.
To use the IOR facilities simply download their “FuelCharge App”. The app provides for credit card payments.
RVAA members will receive a discount off the pump price. Monday to Sunday transactions will be processed and debited on the following Monday.

This charity supports the building of RV Aircraft in schools where the future builders and aviators will come from.
Consider, if you insure with Agile and they pay your membership, then by still paying the $30 (equivalent membership fee) which is Tax Deductible, you will be supporting a worthwhile charity.
